Environment and Social Governance (ESG) is a term promoted by mostly investor community to reduce the risk and add value to the business by focusing on Environment, Social and Governance issues. This reflects the latest shift in the field of Sustainability from Philanthropy to Corporate Social Responsibility to ESG.

That's up 68 percent since 2014 and a whopping tenfold increase since 2004. According to reports of Economic Times, “By 2025, ESG investments are also expected to cross $1 trillion”
One of the major challenges is the number of frameworks, indicators and measurements in each of these spaces ie Environment (E), Social (S) and Governance (G).
